24.02.2026 | KWCC presented a petition before the County Assembly of Meru calling upon the county government to consider setting aside funds for the provision of diapers to disabled girls and women who are unable to use normal sanitary pads during their menstrual periods.

This initiative seeks to promote dignity, inclusivity, proper hygiene, and support for persons living with disabilities within our communities.

We believe that menstrual health is a basic right and that no girl or woman should be left behind because of disability or lack of support.
